Alex LOVES Christmas & as well as touring his Live cabaret shows, he also loves to entertain on the radio each festive season.
Over the last 15 years Belfield has broadcast Exclusive programmes on over 80 Radio Stations in the UK. In 2012 Alex performed a record 52 Live shows in December with his ‘Condiments of the Seasons’ show.
Here’s a few festive highlights from Belfield’s Christmas Collection.
Alex’s favourite radio bit EVER was on Christmas Eve 2010 for ‘Call Santa’.
This was a technological nightmare but Belfield pulled off 3 hours of wireless joy!
For any radio anoraks tuning in, this was 100% Live, Alex produced & drove this entire show himself on 9 faders & put his Royal Shakespeare Society training into incredible use in this brilliantly moving, funny, entertaining & Christmassy segment where the children of Leeds got to read their Christmas list to the Big Man with the red suit and long white beard…….
One of the cutest bits of radio Alex has ever recorded was with Austin Atkinson who has Muscular Dystophy. They talked about his Christmas dreams, hopes and wishes with his sister Esther.

In 2010 Alexspent a week on the road travelling across West Yorkshire to 5 different venues for ‘Alex Belfield in the Morning’ @ BBC Radio Leeds.
Belfield LOVED meeting his punters and as always, it got him into tons of trouble with the bosses having too much fun and nonsense!
