Dixon prides herself on her philanthropy. She’s supported young women throughout her career and championed many causes on their behalf including #EndPeriodPoverty

Alesha Dixon began her career as a singer in Mis-Teeq and went on to have hit singles like ‘The Boy Does Nothing’.

She’s back in 2018 for the new series of Britain’s Got Talent having shot to mainstream fame on Strictly.

We met up with Alesha in London to discuss a subject that she is passionate about:

#EndPeriodPoverty

Over 137,000 girls missed school last year because they couldn’t afford sanitary products. This is not in a third world country – it’s here, in the UK!

ALWAYS have teamed up with Alesha to highlight this incredibly important campaign so we went to chat with Ms. Dixon and find out how you can help…

In 2007 Alesha won Strictly Come Dancer and two years later returned to be a judge on the show. This led to ‘The Alesha Show’. After 3 years she quit to join Britain’s Got Talented.

In 2013 it was announced that Dixon was expecting her first child with her partner, former backing dancer Azuka Ononye.

She has promoted campaigns for animal rights working around the world and in the UK with the RSPCA.

Campaigns include ‘Pass It On’ and Alesha has worked tirelessly to highlight women’s rights, especially regarding domestic violence.
