An absolutely wonderful interview Alfie. Alex is correct when he says “You have no idea how good you really are” I love the way you hold your Opera and Rock side by side. Alfie does make Opera less stuffy and scary and has opened that genre to a whole new group of listeners (including me). I can not wait til you come to the states, your fan base is growing in leaps and bounds. God Bless and will see you in the states.
What a fabulous interview well done – Alfie Boe simply beyond words. Wishing you all the luck in the future with your family and career, so glad to hear we’ll never lose you the the States. Cant wait to see you on 25th November when i return to Les Mis as last time you were sick and i cant bear the thought of not seeing you perform, and if its not to be then the 25th Anniversary DVD it is xx
The O2 Concert is where I (and lots of others here in the US) “met” Alfie Boe and fell in love instantly! So many of my friends have flown to London to see Alfie in the show and they have said it’s worth every single cent they paid! I love everything that Alfie has ever done, even though it’s only been since March that I first heard him sing, and I will always love whatever he does in the future. I am looking forward quite impatiently to his US Tour. Top thing on my Bucket List? To meet Alfie Boe – the most talented man on the planet. Faboelous interview, Alex! Thank you! Love you, Alfie! xx
Thank you Alex for asking the questions i would ask if I could share a cuppa with Alfie and for saying the things I feel I agree Alfie has absolutely no idea just how great he is both as a singer and a man I have met him a very few times at the stage doors and he is ALWAYS warm gracious and lovely I look forward to the day that Alfie Boe receives the true recognition he deserves god Bless AlfieXX
Alex is totally right when he said that Alfie took the role to a totally new level and is the best JVJ ever. I thought that was evident on the DVD but even more so on the stage. I was at Les Miz last Thursday as well as last Wednesday having come over from the states to see the production. I would absolutely love a reopening of Les Miz on Broadway with Alfie playing JVJ.
