Born and raised in Anstruther, Fife, broadcaster and writer Edith Bowman has been working in TV and radio for nearly 20 years.
She has also broadcast radio shows on BBC Radio 1, 2, 5, 6 & Scotland. Most recently she hosted the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show.

She has a diverse body of work across media. Her numerous TV roles include hosting the BBC’s television festival coverage of Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and T In The Park as well as co-anchoring BBC1’s live coverage of the Royal Wedding and fronting The Vue Film Show for Channel 4.
As an author, Edith Bowman’s Great British Music Festivals was published in 2015 including her own photography.
Edith also wrote a regular monthly column for Clash Magazine, was previously Music Editor for Elle Magazine and a columnist for Balance Magazine.
In 2016 Edith launched her award-winning podcast ‘Soundtracking’.
