Matt Allwright is one of the most popular television presenter, journalist, and musicians.
He is best known for presenting shows such as Watchdog, Rogue Traders, Food Inspectors, The Code and Fake Britain for BBC One as well as The One Show.
In April 2016, Allwright began presenting the BBC One daytime game show The Code which returned for a second series in March 2017.
Allwright guest presented an episode of The Saturday Show on Channel 5 alongside Gaby Roslin. He later became a permanent co-presenter after Matt Barbet left the show. Since 9 July 2016, he has presented the show alongside Gaby Roslin.
We’re campervan crazy in the UK, with the most avid enthusiasts even giving their beloved vehicles a name. Across Europe, annual registrations of new motorhomes have been higher than caravans since 2012.
In fact, according to a new study by the Caravan and Motorhome Club – worldwide Volkswagen campervan sales were up by more than 50% in 2017. We met up with Matt to find out more…

In the UK alone, there are around 225,000 motorhomes and campervans in use. Campervan owners love to pamper their vans and many of them give them special names; the top ten van names in the UK include Frank-en-van, Vanny-de-Vito, Nelson Van Dela and Dick Van Dyke.
