Here’s our exclusive HD Audio / Video review via YouTube:
Direct from its smash London run, this acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical MISS SAIGON is more raw and dark than ever before.
In the last days of the Vietnam War, 17-year-old Kim falls in love with an American G.I. But, her world is torn apart by the fall of Saigon with devastating consequences.
This show has a enormous cast recapturing a Broadway grandeur rarely seen in 2017. The precision of the ensemble is inspiring.
The legendary helicopter scene is extraordinary. The use of wind machines combined with sound and lighting is a stroke of genius!
This show is epic, immersive & intense. It’s packed with now legendary ‘Les Mis-esq’ 11 o’clock numbers that have become classics.
You’ll be blown away by Brammer’s ‘Why God Why’, Eva’s ‘I’d give my life for you’ and their beautiful ‘Last night of the world’.
The emotion & natural connection from Alistair and Eva is palpable until the shocking end.
The incomparable Jon Jon Broines was out tonight as The Engineer, however, Billy Bustaante did a remarkable job of driving the fun & energy of the entire show. His ‘American Dream’ rightly brought the house down!
Nods also to Rachel Ann Go as Gigi & Nicholas Christopher as John. Both excellent.
Alistair Brammer is utterly believable, charming and perfect for the role of Chris. His voice is a joy to hear. Eva Noblezada makes this exhaustingly passionate & emotional role look easy. What a Star!
There’s a few iconic musicals that are truly timeless. The key to success is the magic combination of the music, story and delivery being of equal brilliance. Miss Saigon is exactly that.
Don’t miss Miss Saigon at the Broadway Theatre in 2017.
