Eamonn and Ruth are presenting This Morning across Easter, this week and next at 10.30am on ITV.

Ruth is the Star of Loose Women whilst Eamonn is ‘trying’ to take it easy after leaving Sky News last Autumn. This week Eamonn is not only presenting TM but setting his alarm at 2.40am to cover Piers on GMB.

Belfast born Eamonn presented GMTV for twelve years between 1993 and 2005, before presenting Sky News Sunrise for eleven years.

Since 2006, he has co-hosted This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford on Fridays and during school holidays.

He also presents How the Other Half Lives and It’s Not Me, It’s You for Channel 5.

With careers spanning nearly 70 years between them, there isn’t a Live TV situation they cannot handle! E&R married in Hampshire in 2010.

Ruth was born in Singapore before eventually settling in Cornwall.

Mrs Holmes has appeared on virtually every show including All Star Family Fortunes, Keith Barret, Paul OGrady, Xtra Factor, Lorraine, GMB, Let’s Do Lunch & Sunday Brunch.

Since 1999 Ruth has appeared on Loose Women.
