He previously wrote for The Sun and was a showbiz gossip columnist for The Daily Mirror.
Wright was once described by the Daily Express as being “never far from controversy” which has been his mass & cult appeal on TV.
In 2013, Wright took part in the thirteenth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.
Matthew will be LIVE from Manchester from Mon 28th-30th November for 3 days at the Emirates Old Trafford Stadium from 9.15am on Channel 5!

From the 28th to 30th November, Princess Productions will be taking Channel 5’s longest running daytime show from its London home to take up residence at the iconic Emirates Old Trafford.
It’s a unique opportunity for Britain’s brightest daytime show to engage with The Wright Stuff audience in a completely new way.
The show will be the usual mix of fun, phone-ins and topical debate with great celebrity guests from across the North West.
