Jane Danson is an English actress best known for a Starring role as Leanne Battersby in the ITV’s soap Coronation Street between 1997 and 2000, and from 2004 onwards.
She won the 2011 British Soap Award for Best Dramatic Performance.
Currently caught in a ‘who’s the Daddy’ love triangle. Can she keep ‘it’ quite and keep Nick happy? Oh the joys of soap!
Born in Bury, at the age of 11, Danson made her television in the 1991 in Alan Bleasdale’s ‘G.B.H.’ playing Eileen Critchley.
Since then she’s won the nations hearts in Corrie as the most loved and arguably most complicated member of the Battersby family.

From 1995 she played the role of Paula in the ITV children’s television drama Children’s Ward.
She’s also appeared in Out of Tune, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, The Bill & The Grand.
