Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Exclusive Review Loco Cantina Restaurant Las Vegas…
We were thrilled to be invited to Town Square to visit a new bar & restaurant for us, Loco Cantina.
Offering the flavour of Mexican street food with ‘the fun of a fiesta’ this bar & eatery is certainly fun with very nice food.
Loco Cantina delivers a menu boasting tacos, tortas and tostadas using the freshest ingredients plus daily specials.
There’s hand shaken Margaritas and cocktails for just $5 during happy hour – 40 tequilas and a variety of draft and bottled beer on tap too.
This restaurant is high-energy with live music entertaining nightly. Plus, sports fans can watch the action on TVs located throughout the restaurant and bar, inside and out.
With food prices ranging from $8 – $12, the casual Mexican restaurant doesn’t break the bank but offers something new and different for Las Vegas.
Loco Cantina is located on the second level by the AMC Town Square above SKECHERS and Gymboree.
Enjoy our Exclusive Audio / Video Review at Loco Cantina:
There’s daily specials like ‘Margarita Monday’s for $5 & Taco Tuesday for $2 all day.
The food is beautifully presented and offers incredible value for money – far exceeding expectations.
There’s Party on the patio Fri/Sat with import $15 buckets and 1/2 off appetizers from 3-7pm.
So to the food…
The appetizers are always my favourite in any restaurant.
I highly recommend the Choriza Fries. With chorizo chilli, Chihuahua cheese and a fried egg – this is totally unique and has a kick.
The Loco Mexican Sweet Corn was on Specials. So moist and lovely with queso fresco and chipotle mayo and the squeeze of lime makes this a delightful appetiser.
The ceviche is a personal favourite and this was so fresh and tasty. Packed with flavour I could eat this as perfect light lunch by itself.
For the entree’s there’s sandwiches, tacos & salads….
The Crispy Shrimp Taco with spicy lime crema and Mexican slaw might just be my favourite thing on the menu. Just divine.
The Beef Short Rib ‘Tortas’ with caramelized onions & Mexican slaw was a delightful sandwich. It has kick from the slaw but the meat is beautifully tender and cooked.
The Chorizo Tostadas was packed with punch and served with black bean puree, queso fresco and slaw. Another mouthful of crunchy, tasty delight.
The ‘Candied Walnut Grape’ salad with blue cheese, greens, candied walnuts & grape was beautiful – a meal in itself.
So crisp and fresh – possible the biggest bargain on the menu for just $9!
The chicken taco was also the perfect option for people who don’t like too much spice…
Don’t miss dessert, the Churros are a classic and perfectly presented.
This is served with ice-cream and strawberry sauce….
This bar isn’t offering pompous fine dining, it’s a cool hangout with above average bar food.
4* relaxed bar and hangout with 5* Mexican bar / casual dining food.
A great experience. I’ll be back!
