Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s All About Me On Broadway…..
Most shows only promise one star, but All About Me features two of the top names in entertainment in 2010.
Dame Edna Everage and Michael Feinstein will share the stage at this can’t-miss event.
They are both stage veterans, making this one amazing show. It’s camp, over the top, outrageous and hysterical!
All About Me @ Broadway Stars Dame Edna and Michael Feinstein so Alex went to meet them…..
Here’s an Exclusive interview with Dame Edna…
Here’s the singing Star of the show, Michael Feinstein….
Dame Edna Everage is a character created and performed by Australian comedian Barry Humphries, famous for her lilac-coloured or “wisteria hue” hair and cat eye glasses or “face furniture”, her favourite flower, the gladiolus (“gladdies”) and her boisterous greeting: “Hello, Possums!”
As Dame Edna, Humphries has written several books including an autobiography, My Gorgeous Life, appeared in several films and hosted several television shows (on which Humphries has also appeared as himself and other alter-egos).
Edna describes her chat-shows as “an intimate conversation between two friends, one of whom is a lot more interesting than the other”.
More than simply a performer, Feinstein has received national recognition for his commitment to celebrating America’s popular song and preserving its legacy for the next generation.
In 2007, he founded the Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative, dedicated to celebrating the art form and preserving it through educational programs, Master Classes, and the annual High School Vocal Academy and Competition, which awards scholarships and prizes to students across the country.
Michael serves on the Library of Congress’ National Recording Preservation Board, an organization dedicated to ensuring the survival, conservation and increased public availability of America’s sound recording heritage.
Recorded by Alex Belfield for the BBC and Celebrity Radio 2010.
