Review Rock Of Ages Rio Las Vegas 2016

Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Review Rock Of Ages Rio Las Vegas 2016…..

Rock of Ages has a new home in 2016 – at Rio Las Vegas.

This is the high energy, soul inspiring, feel good 80’s musical which has rocked Broadway, London, the Venetian and now Rio….

The Las Vegas production has a hugely talented and strong cast, not to mention intimate theatre, tight script and great sound.

Rock Of Ages was born to be in Las Vegas. It sassy, brash, high energy, camp and has the entire crowd on their feet by the end of the show.

The showroom / theatre at Rio has more of a ‘club’ feel adding to the authenticity of the show.

This 5* theatrical masterpiece has world class performers, a sensational playlist and a sound system & band akin to a rock concert.

The show now Stars Mitchell Jarvis as Lonny who created the role on Broadway. He’s hugely charismatic, has a Jim Carey comic genius and delivery about him. A top singer and perfect host for the show.

Set in L.A.’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, ROCK OF AGES tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love.

ROCK OF AGES takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair!

The playlist is truly sensational with hits including ‘We Built This City’, ‘Don’t Stop Believing’, ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling’, ‘I wana know what love is’, ‘Whanted dead or alive’ & many more.

Becca Kotte Review Rock Of Ages Las Vegas Mitchell Jarvis Rock Of Ages Interview Don't Stop Believing Musical Review

The lighting in this production is possible the best I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world. Absolute creative perfection.

Despite their being no moving set, the show is one of the most creative, inventive and brilliant in musical theatre.

The talent in this show is staggering. Killer vocals, hot moves and brilliant comic timing.

The band are truly marvellous and drive the show with such energy and precision.

Rock Of Ages Review Las Vegas

Bravo to the entire team. Faultless performance.

Kudos to Kotte as Sherrie who was brilliant & adorable, Lang who was vocally stunning, Brett Stoelker was the perfect Jaxx and Paul Johnson who was the charming and vocally impressive Drew.

Finally, congratulations to Mitchell Jarvis who holds the show together magnificently as Lonny.

We give an easy 5* to Rock Of Ages.
