He hosts Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra.

Nish Kumar performs with Tom Neenan as the double act, Gentlemen of Leisure, having met at Grey College at the University of Durham in 2004 and performed in the Durham Revue. The act was at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2012.
He has been performing solo stand-up shows since 2013.
Kumar stood in for David Trent at the Charity Chuckle at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014.
In February 2015, Kumar was announced as the host for the twelfth season of the BBC Radio 4 Extra series Newsjack.
Kumar’s 2015 Edinburgh is titled ‘Long word… Long word… Blah Blah Blah… I’m so clever’ and will take place at The Pleasance Theatre before a UK tour.
