Ok, this review is simple – The Penthouse Suite by Staying Cool Birmingham is simply the sexiest, most fun and best room I’ve ever stayed in – anywhere in the UK.
It has sensational views. It’s has 2 sizable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the living area which is incredibly spacious.
It is home from home in terms of comfort & luxury.
This suite is truly stunning. During the day you can see for 20 miles. At might it’s utterly magical and romantic overlooking the UK’s second City.
This Penthouse is certainly 5* – maybe 6*!….

As you ascend the Rotunda in Birmingham to the 20th floor, you immediately feel like you’re in for an exciting time.
This location couldn’t be more perfect 2 minutes from The Bull Ring, 5 mins from New Street Station and 10 minutes from Brum’s biggest theatres.
Staying Cool have thought of EVERYTHING!
There’s a fully equip kitchen, dish washer, washing machine, books, games and luxury touches that make things so simple.
I’m not sure about staying for the night – I could happily move in here permanently!
You’ll feel VIP from the moment you arrive.
There’s free high speed Wifi throughout the suite.
The kitchen comes with various varieties of tea, a cafetiere as well as expresso coffee machine, hot chocolate and fresh milk in the fridge.
There’s even fresh oranges for the juice machine – what a splendid touch!
Staying Cool give you salt, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and more.
I love that you get a selection of cereal with granola and museli for breakfast….
The boys at Staying Cool have truly thought of everything. There’s even 4 plugs by each bed which – such things are essential for the discerning 2015 traveller!
The bathrooms are impecably clean and come with fresh towels and plenty of body wash, moisturising cream and shampoo.
None of those annoying tiny pots, they offer full size quality spa products.
There’s also 2 fluffy white dressing gowns per bathroom in the suite.
One of the bathrooms has a shower, the other has a bath shower. There’s a toilet in each room.
The bathrooms feel totally unique due to the shape of the Rotunda….
Entertainment is not a problem in the Penthouse Suite.
There’s books and games next to the TV which has Freeview with all channels.
Staying Cool offer a IPhone dock for music and a DVD player.
There aren’t TV’s in the bedrooms – you don’t need them, the views are sensational!
You can enjoy a selection of magazines in the lounge.
The bedrooms have the most spectacular views!
Rooms come with king size beds with very nice pillows, duvet and quality sheets.
The entire apartment has floor to ceiling glass through the entire back wall of the suite.
Obviously this is a sun trap (Room 2005) from Midday and is an amazing way to get a tan overlooking Birmingham.
At night the views are equally as sensational with 180 degrees and one of the biggest balcony’s I’ve seen at any apartment!
In the bedroom there is a desk with a chair for you to work or to prepare for a night out.
This Penthouse suite could easily host 4 people.
Obviously rooms come with hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
Staying Cool Birmingham offer a fun & modern atmosphere with luxury touches.
With such a perfect location, this is the ideal place for a special occasional or simply for some well earned indulgence.
We give room 2005 5* and the views and atmosphere 6*. We can’t wait to return.
Parking is discounted to £10.50 per night at the Bull Ring Car Park.
There is not air conditioning in the room and there is not a gym as this is not a hotel.
