Carol is best known for co-hosting the popular game show Countdown for 26 years from 1982 until 2008.
Vorders adored working with Richard Whiteley from 1982 until he passed away which devastated Carol.
Whilst appearing on Countdown, Vorderman became one of the biggest Stars on UK TV and a national instituation.
In 2016 Vorders goes down under for I’m A Celebrity on ITV.

Since she became a freelance presenter, Vorderman has been a co-anchor of the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women since 2011, where she anchors once a week. Carol is also the face of several high profile companies.
In 2013, she presented an eight-part cookery series for ITV named Food Glorious Food.
