Hilton Brighton Metropole Review

The Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel is one of the most famous, recognisable and popular properties on the UK.

Set on Brighton’s seafront overlooking the promenade, the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel offers charming Victorian elegance alongside modern convenience.

This large South of England conference hotel has 35 meeting rooms, which include 7 exhibition halls, and 340 bedrooms.

With being built in 1890 this property is constantly renovating to remain modern & of 4* quality.

The grandeur of this hotel is obvious from the moment you arrive….

The staff at this hotel are exceptional, especially at breakfast where they couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

During my stay in March 2014 I sampled three different rooms – all incredibly spacious, with beautifully comfortable beds and all of the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard.

The Waterhouse Bar & Terrace offer a cool, relaxed, modern atmosphere to enjoy drinks and great food all day.

If you prefer to dine and relax privately, you can have this food delivered to your room for extra comfort.

Here’s my audio / visual review @ Waterhouse Bar & Terrace:

I opted for the delicious Seabass starter with (frustratingly over-cooked) scallops & shrimp, a beautifully tender rib-eye steak & finished with a delicious chocolate pudding.

The food far exceeds most hotels and is in keeping with Hilton 4* standard.

Breakfast at Hilton is always something special. The Brighton Metropole is no exception.

Here’s our audio / visual Breakfast review @ YouTube:

The food is plentiful, fresh, beautifully presented and offers a huge variety in the most elegant and beautiful surroundings.

There’s cereals, fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurt, full English Breakfast, egg station and fresh bread.

All items are self serve. Hot beverages are served at your table.

You can’t go wrong with this breakfast, there really is something for everyone.

Hilton Brighton Metropole offers a wonderful standard and fully equipped disabled access room.

One of the great things about Hilton Brighton Metropole is the exception gym and spa.

They offer full spa packages for the day, individual treatments including ‘Rebalancing Facial’, ‘Swedish Massage’, ‘Full Body Exfoliation’ & ‘Marine Prelude’.

You will also find a full gym and wonderful pool for relaxation.

Another review of room @ Hilton Brighton Metropole.

Finally, I sampled room 208 which sadly had seen slightly better days. The furniture was stained and I would be most disappointed if I had been given this £180 room for the night.

I’m sure this room will be on the renovation schedule ASAP (at least I hope it will be)….
