Before I’d even been served any food I knew I would love Ocean Prime Orlando and be back for more. It’s my kinda place.
The room is beautiful and the epitome of fine dining. Everything is exceptionally clean & beautifully presented.
When presented with the menu, I could literally have ordered one of everything.
The atmosphere is this restaurant is cool and relaxed but incredibly sophisticated.
Ocean Prime has Live music of a guitar vocalist which is masterfully pumped through the restaurant at a volume that does not intrude, annoy but purely entertains.
I had my first laugh and lasting memory before even taking off my coat. This is class…..
The food is exceptional. I am mostly unimpressed by new restaurants as the food becomes a blur – not at Ocean Prime.
The appetisers were probably the highlight of the meal. Utterly delicious and superb flavours.
We began with the crab cake. Unlike 80% of restaurants this crab cake had 80% (or more) fresh, succulent and incredibly moreish crab.
Next, I loved the “Surf n Turf,” of Sea Scallops, Slow Braised Short Ribs. One of the most brilliant combinations of tastes I have ever been served.
Ocean Prime recognise the true subtle flavours of their fish. Especially with crab, shrimp and scallops – you do not need over powering & pointless sauces and seasoning.
Take advantage of Ocean Prime’s wine menu – it’s the best I’ve seen in Orlando.
Next came the entree’s of Yellow Fin Tuna & the gorgeous Rib Eye Steak….
I would love to tell you about the desserts but sadly we were so full on the incredible food above we were unable to indulge.
This restaurant could easily survive in London, Paris, New York or Las Vegas – I only wish I could visit an Ocean Prime in the UK.
The service is excellent and attentive without being intrusive. The food is some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time and overall dining experience is up there with the best.
Congratulations Ocean Prime – I’ll be back!
