Actress Shirley MacLaine has sparked outrage after making a series of choking claims in her new memoir, from hinting that Holocaust victims must have sinned in a past life, to claiming Professor Stephen Hawking somehow brought his crippling illness on himself.
The Downton Abbey actress claims in her recently published book that victims of Hitler’s concentration camps were “balancing their karma” from crimes committed in their previous lives.
Writing in her memoir, What If…, Miss MacLaine, Shirley wrote: “What if most Holocaust victims were balancing their karma from ages before, when they were Roman soldiers putting Christians to death, the Crusaders who murdered millions in the name of Christianity, soldiers with Hannibal, or those who stormed across the Near East with Alexander?
“The energy of killing is endless and will be experienced by the killer and the killee.”
