Les Dennis is simply showbiz royalty!
Since 1974 he’s been on our screens since he first appeared on New Faces.
Most famously he presented Family Fortunes from 1987-2002 from Nottingham’s Central studios.
He’s back in Nottingham this week at the Theatre Royal Starring as Uncle Fester in Addams Family.
In 1982, Les’ big break came when he joined Russ Abbot’s Madhouse forming a comedy partnership with fellow impressionist Dustin Gee. They had a series of their own prior to Gee’s unexpected death in 1986.
Most recently Les Dennis played Michael Rodwell in Coronation Street from 2014 until earlier this year. We went to meet him for another chat…
