This interview reveals a lot about the true character of the Top Of The Pops and Jim’ll Fix It host.

Reflecting on his death, Savile admitted “I won’t go to heaven, I got away with it”.

Denis is the TV legend who has worked with everyone in comedy!

Denis Norden, CBE (born 6 February 1922) is a retired English comedy writer and television presenter. Denis passed away on September 18th 2018.

After an early career working in cinemas, he began scriptwriting during World War II.

From 1948 to 1959, he co-wrote the successful BBC Radio comedy programme Take It From Here with Frank Muir.

Muir and Norden remained associated for more than 50 years: after they stopped collaborating on scripts, they appeared regularly together on radio panel programmes My Word! and My Music.

Alex was truly honoured to meet Mr. Norden in London:

Denis Mostyn Norden was born into a Jewish family in Hackney, East London, on 6 February 1922.

He was academic and bookish, winning a scholarship to the City of London School. The novelist Kingsley Amis was a fellow pupil.

Norden wrote scripts for Hollywood films.

He also presented television programmes on ITV for many years, including the nostalgia quiz Looks Familiar and blooper shows It’ll Be Alright on the Night and Laughter File.

He retired in 2006.

He Starred as the host of ‘It’ll be alright on the night’ for most of Belfield’s life and wrote for most of the big Stars back in the day.

Derek lives near Southport in the North West of England with his wife Gwen. They share their home with their two dogs – Jack, a Standard Poodle, and Penny, a German Shepherd Dog.

Derek has always been a keen fish-keeper and is very proud of his Koi carp but recently he developed an interest in keeping chickens and ducks. His daily routine whilst at home now includes looking after the flock he was given for his birthday in 2011.

Over the years Derek has achieved international success with his television, radio and personal appearances across the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.A.

He has conducted telephone consultations for people all over the world. His books have been translated into many languages including Mandarin and Russian.

The Star of the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ talks to Belfield about his life and career.

Brendan Cole (born 23 April 1976) is a ballroom dancer specialising in Latin American dancing.

He is most famous for appearing on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, a dance contest in which a professional ballroom dancer is partnered with a celebrity amateur dancer. He has also judged New Zealand’s own version of the show, Dancing with the Stars.

Brendan is currently on tour across the UK with ‘Live and Unjudged’.

In summer 2006, he joined ITV’s Love Island and became the runner-up when the show ended on August 28, 2006.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson also known as T P-T is an English socialite, “it girl”, television presenter, columnist, model and charity patron.
