You’ll enjoy brunch and the show in this beautifully staged and intimate ground level restaurant level of the House of Blues on the main casino floor of Mandalay Bay.

As you arrive you can help yourself to the buffet brunch located around the edge of the restaurant / dinner theatre. There’s more than you could possible want!

You won’t be disappointed. There’s endless hearty dishes from omelettes to shrimp and roast beef to salads.

There really is something for everyone….

For me the food was lovely, exceptional for buffet style. You will not leave hungry for sure!

However,  there’s great food everywhere in Vegas – but there is not the Sons Of Soul singers who raise the roof with their sensation and moving joyful noise of the gospel hits!

The Star singer today was the amazing Sharon Smith. What a voice. What a Star – why is she not a household name?

It was an honour to hear her incredibly powerful, moving and beautiful voice!

I love that Las Vegas makes room for a ‘show’ like this. It was also thrilling to see ‘Gospel Brunch’ sold out today.

You cannot fail to be uplifted by this experience.

As well as the ‘eat-as-much-as-you-can’ buffet, there’s also tea, coffee & juice within the price and you can add in bottomless bloody Mary’s and Samosas for $20.

In a cynical world full of awful happenings, to sit in a room with people from around the world and just be part of a positive, enlightening & all-embracing experience is a blessing for my trip and one that I will cherish. Just lovely….

The menu offers wonderful French classics!

The scallop gratinees is one of my favourite things on earth, and the menu. So fresh and packed with flavour – truly the perfect dish.

Equally the baked goats cheese with tomato sauce is just sensational! This could easily be a meal in itself and another classic that should NEVER be taken off the menu!

As well as the usual bistro style appetisers, you can also sample some of the best fish in Las Vegas!

It never ceases to amaze me how Vegas gets first dibs on some of the best fish in the US & the world!

The fruits de mer at Mon Ami Gabi are sensational. The platter with Maine Lobster, Shrimp, Oysters & Salmon Tartare was utterly divine.

Seriously worth a visit in itself…

For the first time we visited for breakfast. It was quite lovely.

A very French affair, this is certainly a meal of decadence and indulgence.

The food is as exceptional as lunch & dinner but you just have the added romance of dining under the Eiffel Tower opposite the glorious Bellagio…

As you would expect in a French eatery, there’s crepes for Breakfast! The whole nut & Nutella crepe was divine – something I would never normally order but WOW – it’s fun!

We loved the salmon bagel & croque madame – so classy. A perfect start to the day.

To mitigate the calories we ordered beautifully fresh berries & a gorgeous omelette…

There are 2 beautifully elegant, refined fine dining rooms set inside the restaurant.

Outside the atmosphere is vibrant, exciting and glorious on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains.

No matter where you sit, this popular restaurant always has a buzz and energy!

You cannot visit Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Hotel & Casino without trying the steak frites….

I love to sample the daily specials at Mon Ami Gabi – today we struck GOLD!

The fresh trout was a sensation. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavour and served with crisp beans with chopped cucumber & tomato. Just lovely.

Next was the Bison. Such a fabulous surprise! So simple and utterly delicious.

Finally DO NOT miss dessert…..

Everyone loves a French Creme Brulee – this was a masterclass in this dessert.

For me though, the only way to finish your meal at Mon Ami Gabi is the chocolate mouse – it is SENSATIONAL!

The Hawthorn Grill at Downtown Summerlin is one of the most delicious dining experiences during my months stay in Las Vegas.

This restaurant is ‘old school’ and I mean that as a HUGE compliment! The service is impecable, the food is devine and the dining experience is cool but classy.

Mixing classic steakhouse fare and American classics, alongside an extensive wine and cocktail program you cannot go wrong at the JW Marriott Hotel.

It was so thrilling to see this Summerlin hotspot packed tonight. The atmosphere was perfect. Fun but not intrusive. The restaurant is perfectly set out.

Hawthorn Grill features a rich bar area, perfect for an after-work or pre-dinner drink; a large, yet cozy dining room easily accommodating a large family dinner or a romantic date; and an expansive outdoor patio with a vibrant waterfall surrounded by lush foliage.

The menu is a dream for me but I judge every decent eatery by their complimentary bread. It was exceptional at Hawthorn! Delicious.

We began with the mozzerella to begin which was perfect followed by the sumptuous shrimp. A perfect combination.

The entrees are devine! With fish, lamb and steaks you can’t go wrong.

We loved the scallops and then the steak of the day – the chateaubriand which was sensational.

Perfectly cooked, perfectly served and a perfect environment! This restaurant is a gem!

This restaurant really is quite wonderful. A magical mix where all of the stars align.

You will enjoy a magnificent dining experience in a gorgeous room with world class service.

This is a 5* dining experience and the perfect place to celebrate before a night at Caesars Palace Colleseum enjoying Mariah, Celine, Elton or Rod.

So, to begin I insist EVERY customer must try Joe’s world famous Stone Crab – it will blow your mind!

So tender, so moist – just perfect! A gem of the sea.

This Florida delicacy is a joy and one of the top reasons I make my annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas…..

Next, Joe’s chopped salad may sound simple, but it’s perfect.

So fresh, so crisp – and a wonderful start or accompaniment to any meal! I love to share this as an appetiser although it can easy be entrée on its own.

Also, I can highly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller. The nicest and most flavoursome I’ve ever tasted.

Finally, the shrimp are so crispy fresh and meaty, tasty and perfectly cooked with the special Joe’s sauce on the side! Simple, joyous and divine….

For the entrees, make sure you go seasonal!

I couldn’t resist sampling Joe’s new scallops.

This plate has been re-designed since my last visit and their tweak has been for the better!

Served with crispy potato on the bottom & Caviar Buerre Blanc, this was a sensational dish – again worthy of a visit in itself….

Finally, Joe’s Prime Steaks are world class and frankly the signature dish of this restaurant.

This year I wanted to try the ‘bone in’ 16oz fillet steak which was truly sensational.

Obviously the bone adds extra flavour but this cut is one of the most rare and delicious available.

5* amazing – melt in your mouth wonderful. I give you THE perfect steak….

The servers are fantastic at letting you know what was flown in today!

The Salmon Au Poivre was a delight. So tender and gloriously cooked.

Don’t miss the corn at Joe’s – it’s legendary. I don’t know how they do it but it puts corn into another league!

I had to try the fabulous lamb cops for the first time.

These are double cut from Colorado. Just perfect – again, worth a return visit in themselves…

DO NOT miss dessert at Joe’s:

Each month this restaurant gives the profits to a select charity from one of its desserts. This month it was the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie.

Less guilt & calories in my book if you’re doing a good turn for a charity.

Made in house, all of the pies are rustic and as ‘momma’ made them.

The Peppermint ice-cream with hot chocolate fudge sauce is the perfect refreshing dessert. It’s my favourite BY A MILE! Simply fabulous.

Best ice-cream in Vegas!

And finally, the Key Lime Pie is a Florida classic and never done better. Crispy on the outside and beautifully decadent on the inside.

Joe’s is simply the perfect restaurant. IT’s got everything right and never fails to impressive.

In 5+ years of visiting Joe’s, I’ve never had a bad dish. Consistency is so rare, yet so sought after in this town.

It has brilliant service, consistently amazing food and the best produce.

This is why we think Joe’s in our BEST RESTAURANT 2019!

I wonder how many people take advantage of the 150 wiskey’s? This is an impressive menu.

The menu has a huge array of salads, steaks, ribs, fish & more.

The ribs were tender with a little kick served with either fries, jacket potato or salad.

The burger was exceptional. Beautifully moist and tender…

We began with the Burrata on arugula (rocket) – a stunning dish with salted almonds & ‘stone fruit’ that could easily be a meal in itself.

Next came the ‘jumbo shrimp scampi toast’. Fresh, chilled with a delicious crunch.

Most surprising were the chicken tenders (I’ve never written this before)! So crisp, tender and moist – an American classic never done better! I’m told the chicken is marinated in beer – smart! 5*.

‘Large plates’ include many English classics curiously like Shepherds Pie & Bangers & Mash.

There’s also fresh fish, spatchcock chicken, steak and Guiness pie & pizzas.

I had to order the F&K Burger. This is a ‘knife and fork burger’ (is there any other?)! Just look at this, The American Dream right?!…

Appetisers average $12 which is amazing value. Equally entrees range between $25-$38 – exceptional pricing.

You cannot fail to get great value at one of the most legendary casinos in Las Vegas – The Trop!

The house favourite is the Steak Frites. With Creekstone Farms skirt steak & grilled asparagus. The steak is beautifully seasoned and great value for the price of $38!…

Robert Irvine is open from 11am – 11pm.

A 4* dining experience with friendly warm service.

This is not only Nottingham’s greatest culinary delight but one of the best eateries in the UK! In 2014, Restaurant Sat Bains was awarded the rare honour of two Michelin Stars.

In 2015 The Sunday Times finally named Bains ‘#1 RESTAURANT UK!”

It’s league above anything in Nottingham, however, has Sat Bains lost his edge? This eatery is the most expensive dining experience in many many miles – therefore expectations are high!

RSB is a wonderfully indulgent treat at £120 for 10 courses, however, tonight I left a little deflated. The room was irritating, the service formulaic and the food was naturally excellent but just not as exciting this year. Everything felt tired…

This restaurant is located just off the A453 on the way into Nottingham from M1 J24.

Offering only a 7 or 10 course taster menu per table, you can add the world famous ‘duck egg’ which he’s demonstrated on TV all over the world.

It’s an indulgent, special, decant but unpretentious night out. The menu for 2019 seemed to be less inspired though, and not as visually exciting.

Added to the insufferable low lighting in the main dining room, bizarre music and a less familiar welcome – this dinner struggled to shine. The first four dishes all had the same mantra from the server of ‘and we pour this over…’ – making the plate look a messy and feel repetitive. What happened to the showbiz?…

Let me be absolutely clear. This is a stunning restaurant – but it’s all relative. Obviously compared any other restaurant in Nottingham, this is extra-ordinary experience. But, in comparison to a restaurant like Joel Robuchon or even the Savoy Grill at half the price…it was just a bit underwhelming tonight.

As an overall experience I didn’t feel compelled to go back, that’s never happened before. Honestly, for two, I didn’t feel we had £330 worth of value.

Not the most glamorous of locations – or the easiest to find, SB is still worth the effort.

I love that the dessert is called “‘Lenton Lane’ based on Rocky Road” – I wouldn’t come in your Jag, the potholes on this private road are totally inconguous to a 5* restaurant!

When you book, insist on sitting in the conservatory – it’s a TOTALLY different experience. I did not like the bland and dull dining room at all. The staff waiting around for something to do didn’t help.

The 200 day aged steak (above) was possibly the silliest of dishes that I’ve ever been served. Based on a piece of ‘art’, this dish appeared to be more inspired by the Queen’s Medical Centre than Lowry. I just don’t get it.

Unlike many top chefs, Bains remains loyal to his home town and makes Londoners take the two hour trip up the M1 to enjoy his divine cuisine.

The room is refined and elegant but not pompous. Tonight I found the brown’s, grey’s, modern art + low lighting draining. It was like eating in a pompous nightclub.

There were two standout dishes tonight. The Eel dish was sensational and the Monkfish was incredible. Frankly, these flavours were leagues above everything else that I tasted. Two 5*plates for sure.

Sat is a master of his art….and it is an art. His food can be exceptional and exciting.

You don’t need an interesting date, you can just talk about the playful food.

The candyfloss ice cream was awfully spicy for my taste, as was the chocolate dessert over powered by the tobacco…

The service at Sat Bains is incredibly professional….perhaps too professional. You hear the same script given to everyone around you word for word. It becomes a little cynical.

Bains uses local & seasonal ingredients and the menu continually evolves.

As well as the restaurant, they have two incredibly beautifully decorated hotel rooms.

With a gorgeous four poster bed and lounge area, this room competes with any 5* hotel in the world.

The epitome of opulence with all 2019 amenities in room.

A word of warning though – these rooms can be noisy with passing traffic from the main road into Notts. The first room closest to the restaurant is attached to the noisy electric gate. AVOID!

Don’t be put off though, the breakfast itself is worth a visit!

There is no question these spacious rooms are 5* in quality.

There’s a huge living area, wonderful bathroom and lovely high end bed linen.

You’ll enjoy a full English with local Nottinghamshire Sausage & bacon….

Restaurant Sat Bains was Celebrity Radio’s second favourite restaurant IN THE WORLD! Sadly, that is no longer the case. Tonight, I just didn’t feel it.

Sat Bains **** – still a Nottingham gem worth visiting if you want a treat.

The entire renovation of St Pancras cost a reported £800 million – and it was worth EVERY penny!

From the moment you arrive into this temple of decadence you cannot fail to be impressed by the grandeur, importance and glory of the St Pancras Hotel.

Treat yourself to a Chambers room and enjoy the most wonderful private lounge in London.

Every part of this enormous building has been beautifully restored, decorated and respectfully modernised to be one of the most advanced in the business.

Renovating a building of this importance is notoriously difficult, especially considering that there were only 5 bathrooms on the entire first floor.

Each room is now obviously en-suite and has all 5* facilities and modern amenities.

With elegant touches throughout he property you cannot be unaffected by the elegance.

I personally loved the rubber duck – very nice touch & made me smile on arrival. What more can you ask?

The rooms are beautifully decorated, even the curtain ties are a work of art;

The rooms are fabulously designed bringing a perfect synergy between the history of the building with modern day traveller requirements.

High Speed WIFI is available throughout the hotel for £15 per day (free in Chambers rooms / Marriott members).

I personally love the Junior Suites (around £400/£500) with access to the lounge. Stunning and spacious with remarkable views of the façade…

Breakfast is a very decadent and fun affair.

You can enjoy a Full English Breakfast or simply a continental. There’s something for EVERYONE!

From cereals, fresh fruit, bagels, croissants, waffles, omelettes, salmon, fresh breads to bacon – it’s the best breakfast in London…

Nothing is too much trouble at St Pancras. Naturally this is one of Marriott’s most luxurious hotels in the world and they want to keep it that way!

When you stay at the St Pancras Hotel you are not only getting 5* luxury and decadence you’re getting pure history.

The Grand Staircase is stunningly magnificent and has been breathtakingly restored….

I highly recommend you enjoy the splendour of a Chambers Club Room which will allow you access to the beautifully designed lounge.

The Chambers Club offers a delightful Afternoon Tea from 2.30pm.

Afternoon tea has just been upgrade in the Chambers lounge – a glorious experience…

There’s free sprits included from 5.30 – 7.30pm. Wine and beer available all day.

The canapes are really lovely to accompany your drinks.

From cold meats, salads to two hot dishes – it’s a fabulous way to start your evening…

The service in the Chambers Club is tremendous. It’s the perfect venue to host friends or clients with 5* service.

This double room is enormous!

There are obviously fresh towels, water and magazines throughout the spa area….

This restaurant & bar is open 21 hours a day filled with an incredible atmosphere with those enormously high roofs.

The original ‘Booking Office’ counter is Grade 1 listed itself, therefore it could not be altered or moved. It’s been restored spectacularly.

So, the very clever people at Renaissance have incorporated it into the restaurants main & stunning feature – the bar.

This bar is a true asset to the property. It has Live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Be sure to try one of the original recipe Rum Punch during your visit.

The food in the Booking Office is fun, fresh and very well presented.

This dining experience is one of the most unique, exciting and impressive in London;

Alternatively you may wish to try St Pancras’ fine dining restaurant – The Gilbert Scott.

This is a glorious restaurant relatively reasonably priced.

Located left of the grand staircase, it’s the ultimate decadent dining experience…

Overall I cannot sing the praises of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel enough.

It is without a doubt the most characterful hotel in London, and maybe even the world.

It embraces and celebrates its unique history & glamour whilst remaining ultra-modern throughout.

My new favourite suite at the St Pancras Hotel is the Sir John Betjeman Suite.

Located on the 1st floor, above the Chambers Club, overlooking Euston Road and Kings Cross – this is one of the most beautiful, large and impressive suites I’ve stayed in at St Pancras Hotel.

You’ll love the bathroom with two sinks, separate shower and bath & 2 chez lounge…

Worth a visit in itself. Totally breath-taking.

This is our favourite restaurant at Trump Doral!

Champions Restaurant is located on the lower floor (golf course level) which has sensational views, fab food, amazingly reasonable prices, great service and gorgeously decadent atmosphere.

The menu is very unpretentious and offers everything on the menu that I love!

The food is cooked perfectly and the ingredients are incredibly well sourced and high end.

You truly get 5* value for money and quality at Champions! This is a ‘sports bar’ on another level!

Champion’s Bar & Grill brings modern sophistication to a casual concept by combining first-class service and an upscale social setting.

You can choose from an array of appetizers such as the Jumbo “Red Tiger” Shrimp, “Chicken Lollipops,” and Artisan Meats and Cheese Board.

Specialty entrees include the “Big Boy” burger with sirloin pulled pork con mojo, aged gruyere and mushrooms, and the “St. Louis Ribs” with spiced rub, house barbeque, pork and cheddar grits and a vinegar slaw.

Indoor and patio dining available 7 days a week from 11 am. to 11 pm.

When you arrive you’ll be given bread & still water without being asked. Classy touch.

This is a fine dining restaurant with no attitude. It’s the most high end ‘sports bar’ I’ve ever visited…..

To begin I had the French Onion soup – just delicious and my favourite appetiser. Not too huge or too cheesy – the perfect FOS!

I couldn’t resist trying the Shrimp Cocktail. WOW! Utterly stunning – fresh, moist and worth every penny.

I had to try the naked burger (no bun). ‘Triple meat’, moist and tender and packed with flavour – really perfect.

The side of burrato cheese and tomato was perfect!

The turkey burger was equally as perfectly cooked.

This was a 5* experience for the price. Best burger I’ve ever had in the USA.

Champions takes the sports ‘bar’ to the next level! Bravo Trump.
